GO Homes Join Team Sutton

Ash Sutton, the 2017 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Champion, who recently announced he will be remaining with Team BMR Subaru for 2018, will now welcome GO Homes as part of the team.

“I am really excited to welcome GO on-board for the 2018 Season” – Ashley Sutton.

23 year old Ash, from the Herts and Essex border, was crowned the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Champion back in October last year at Brands Hatch, after a breakout year with Team BMR in the Subaru Levorg Sports Tourer. In only his second year in the series he totaled an impressive six outright wins, and celebrated no less than fifteen podium positions during the season.

GO Homes, a housing developer in the Herts and Essex area, see the support of local talent as an important role to play for the business.

Neil and Oliver, founders of GO Homes, said “We know the hard work required to build a successful racing career, as we both had a successful time racing karts together, prior to building homes. We are both proud, and excited to be sponsoring Ashley and it’s just the start of us investing in local talent. Ashley’s winning attitude has been key in making it all the way to the top in BTCC, and we are looking forward to being part of the journey”.

The BTCC Champion title tops his career so far on his superb run of success over the last four seasons after securing the Jack Sears Trophy in his rookie Touring Car campaign in 2016 and the Renault UK Clio Cup and Formula Ford scholarship class titles in 2015 and 2014.

“I am really excited to welcome GO on-board for the 2018 Season”, said Ashley. “Being based just around the corner to myself and having the same ambitions in wanting to grow, means all the ingredients are there to do exactly that. I had always planned to incorporate them into the team the moment I wrapped up the 2017 Season. I have to say my GO Homes Helmet is the best one to date, the colours are striking and is definitely one that is going to go down in history. We have lots of exciting things coming up with competitions, videos and other social media antics. So make sure you stay tuned throughout the season and join this GO Fast Journey”.

The season got underway at the weekend, with thousands of passionate spectators there to see the three races live at the famous Kent circuit and the many more watching the action live on ITV4. Reigning champion Ash currently sits fifth in the standings ahead of the next round in three weeks’ time at Donington Park (28/29 April). The traditional summer break will sit between the North Yorkshire event and Snetterton, with Rockingham following the latter before the series goes north of the border to Knockhill in Scotland. Silverstone hosts the penultimate event, ahead of the season finale heading back to the world famous Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.

GO Homes are a housing developer with sites across Essex and Hertfordshire. A family business, their mission is to invest in the future, to help current and forthcoming generations to be able to own their dream home.
